According to rumors, the Galaxy S25 Edge will go on sale on May 30. At the S25 Unpacked event in January, the firm unveiled the enigmatic gadget for the first time, but it prohibited participants from touching it.
Given that Samsung’s current S25 phones are already reasonably thin, ranging from 0.28 to 0.34 inches, depending on the model.
The phone didn’t exactly look revolutionary. The S25 Edge is being marketed by Samsung as more than just a “slim smartphone.”
“By pushing the boundaries of mobile technology, we’re going beyond what users expect and opening up new possibilities,” Samsung stated in a statement. “The latest addition to the Galaxy S series is both a powerful AI companion and an engineering marvel, merging flagship-level performance with superior portability.”
According to Samsung, the S25 Edge will have a camera with at least 200 megapixels, just like the S25 Ultra. Samsung goes on to say: “The Galaxy S25 Edge, the most recent model in the Galaxy S25 series, represents the pinnacle of camera experience and goes one step further with mobile AI that enables users to reach new creative realms in every aspect of mobile photography, from capturing to editing and sharing.”
It also says the phone will feature Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, a new glass ceramic covering that promises “advanced protection” for thinner devices.
